THREE fire engines from Wells, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury were mobilised following calls from St Andrews Community EP Unit, Priory Park, on Glastonbury Road.
They also received calls from the Alarm Receiving Centre, reporting a fire in one of the bedrooms within the unit just after 1pm today (Dec 13).
Shortly after arriving and being met by staff, crews confirmed that smoke was coming from one of the bedrooms, in a one storey elderly persons unit and that all persons were evacuated.
