A WELLS football coach is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after a collision with a car on Sunday evening.
Police said a 47-year-old pedestrian – who the Journal understands is Wells City footballer and youth team coach Darren Padfield – was seriously injured in Strawberry Way in the city at around 7.30pm.
