A MAN is fighting for his life after being hit by a car at Polsham during an incident which is being investigated by the IPCC.The A39 was closed in the early hours of Saturday morning after a man in his forties was hit by a car.The man sustained life-threatening head injuries in the incident and was flown to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by the police helicopter.
