Firefighters have said they cut an elderly female from a car after a two-vehicle crash on the A38 this afternoon.
Fire crews from Wellington and Taunton went to Sampford Arundel Road, Sampford Arundel, Wellington, at 12.43pm, said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.
A 78-year-old woman was cut free from her car and taken to hospital by ambulance.
