TRAFFIC is crawling following an accident at West Horrington, which has blocked the road.Bath Road is blocked in both directions because of the accident, which happened between Veal Lane (West Horrington) and the B3135 (Green Ore).It is thought that the accident happened near Horrington School, and drivers are advised to take other routes in and out of Wells, avoiding the area for the time being. Traffic is said to be moving slowly all the way up to Burnt Wood crossroads.It is currently unclear...

A CRASH on the A39 in Polsham is causing traffic delays between Glastonbury and Wells.The incident, which is reported to be near the Three Wells pub, formally known as The Camelot, is affecting motorists travelling in both directions.Further details of the crash, which is thought to have happen around 2.30pm, have not yet been released but it is advised to avoid the area if possible.

A KITCHEN fire sparked the response of fire crews at 7.07pm this evening.Firefighters were called to Judy's Orchard, Westonzoyland, following reports of a fire involved a cooker.When crews arrived, they located where the fire was but fortunately it had been put out before they arrived.Firefighters carried out a safety inspection using a thermal imaging camera and small tools.
